It was so amazing just like sculpting in clay, intutive design interface and the level of detail that I could sculpt was just unbelievable. Since that moment I haven’t been able to put down Zbrush I have been going through every feature and trying to learn the most of them.

One of the most useful features is the Zphere modeling technique this basically consist on using spheres and connections between each zphere to create a skeleton for our model once that basic skeleton its completed Zbrush automatically creates a poly skin around that skeleton. Over that skin we can start modeling and adding detail; my first test was to model a hand and forearm, it was really simple and fast.

Zbrush has really a lot of potential and an amazing power, I’m yet trying to find the best workflow for my current needs and I have been converting some of my comic characters to zbrush models, I will posting them as soon they are completed so stay tuned.

Damn! If I was worry, I went looking for an answer at Adobe official forums and Microsoft help center, well I found two “methods” to fix this problem one require to reinstall photoshop and remove some MS updates and the other one required to delete all my fonts, uninstall photoshop, reinstall, etc etc.

I was sick and tired so I did what any good engineer does when the little Windows start miss beahiving, I restarted and then tried to rerun photoshop, so I hit the open Dialog box and then …… the same thing happen it disappeared and Photoshop froze on the act, so I hit the Esc key like a crazy person, and something amazing happen I recover control of Photoshop and full with hope I hit the open menu again … WOW!!! it worked the dialog box was back. EUREKA!!!!!

So I hope this helps someone with the same problem, remember if your Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver frozes just hit “Escape”.

The future looks very promising, having even stronger relationship with my recurrent customers (You know who you are  );  right now I have a great amount of interesting projects and more yet to come, and of course my personal projects are on track and getting some speed.

Months ago when I finish my service has a SUN University representative, I was very nervous about my source of income and what it was going to happen with my future, at least my immediate future;  then I remember a website that I had seen some  time ago www.scriptlance.com the idea of working as an independant programmer/designer has been always appealing to me but until that moment never had any real reason nor time to try it.

So I subscribed to Scriptlance and start bidding on projects, it was and still is a very interesting process. At first you have to start taking small projects to start making a ranking inside this bidding websites, many times this process its not easy and can take a while, fourtunetly I didn’t had much trouble and after some small I was ready to start taking more serious projects.

At first I was not making much money, but as time pass and the clients keep getting back with new and interesting proposals(and bigger budgets, of course ) I’m now at the start of a much more stable economic situation.

Although for me the real and important aspect of freelancing is not the money but the time, thats right the time; the control and flexibility that you have when you are working as a freelancer, the incredible oportunity to work where ever you want as long a internet connection is present and in some cases when its not and the opportunity to work and know people from all over the world.

Este es uno de los ultimos proyectos que hice la creacion de un Header para BlogTheUSA.com un blog de satira politica.

Creo que todavia me queda mucho trabajo por hacer antes de poder llamarme freelancer %100, pero los inicios se muestran prometedores y llenos de oportunidades; veremos que va pasando, solo espero que la actitud de la gente siga siendo la misma que hasta ahora.
